Our Biological Sciences PhD program focuses on building research expertise as students work towards a dissertation under a research advisor that produces novel and impactful findings to be published and presented. In addition the program allows students to complete coursework relevant to career development that can be tailored to career goals. This is done through individual coursework plans of study in the General Biological Sciences Sequence, or a specific sequence of Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics (BEES), Molecular and Cellular Biology, or Neuroscience and Physiology.
