The requirements below pertain to this Undergraduate Catalog year and are intended as a guide for academic planning. Students should consult with their academic advisor to discuss their individual plan of study.
A minimum of 120 total credit hours are required, including 40 senior level hours (200-300 level courses).
In addition to completing major requirements students must complete:
General Education requirements (refer to General Education for alternative options for transfer students)
One course for the AMALI graduation requirement
One course for the IDEAS graduation
Specific degree type requirements (Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science)
Some courses may satisfy a major requirement and one of the requirements noted above
Note:
To be admitted to the R.N. to B.S.N. Sequence students must have completed the Associate Degree in Arts (A.A.) or an Associated Degree in Science (A.S.) or a specified portion of the IAI General Education Core Curriculum. Please consult with your academic advisor regarding additional requirements for the R.N. to B.S.N. program, including admission requirements and your individual plan of study.

Notes:
The Accelerated BSN is designed for students with a previous bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing major, seeking to complete fast-tracked BSN. Since students in this sequence are completing a second bachelor's degree only 65 credit hours are required.
NUR 222, 225, 229, 231, 316, 314, 317, 329, 325 and 327 didactic courses have co-requisite a01 clinical or lab sections associated that are also required.
