Description
Specialists in Learning and Behavior 1 (LBS1) minor teach students in kindergarten through age 21 in educational settings. Students in this sequence, designed for non-LBS1 majors, take a survey of the exceptional child, general characteristics of children with disabilities, specialized instructional methodologies and strategies, assessment, and behavior supports coursework. By successfully completing courses within their education field of study and minor courses, teacher candidates become eligible to pursue an LBS1 endorsement on their teaching license.
